Potomac Gourmet Market at National Harbor is a specialty food and wine merchant. This photo shows two compositions of delicious food in still life wall murals, each 48 inches tall and 25 feet long that include a mouth watering array of colors depicted from left to right with crusty loaves of artisan bread, a pitcher of blood orange sangria, red and yellow peppers, red cabbage, green shallots, purple eggplant, orange carrots, stacks of chocolate chip cookies, tall bottles of golden seasoned herb olive oils, bruchetta, a series of 6 wine bottles with green glass, backlit chardonnay white wine wrapped with gold or black foil and neck bands, followed by a club sandwich on toasted sesame seed bread. The second mural features cheese and cured meats on a crusty French baguette, a stack of creamy white and orange cheeses with black or natural rinds, next to two wine filled goblets with blue stems in front of bunches of green and red grapes, a white bowl with a mixed green salad, a plate of pasta topped with fresh basil, shaved cheese and fresh tomatoes, with a fan of tall dried spaghetti and stacks of dried linguini pasta nests standing behind the plate, next is a stack of fresh mozzarella layered with fresh tomatoes, olives and cracked ground pepper, a bubbly crusted pepperoni pizza, and ending with sumptuous desserts including a multi layer strawberry and kiwi trifle, two chocolate cupcakes with mocha and strawberry icing, a vanilla and chocolate layered mousse in a goblet and a thick slice of cream cheese frosted red velvet cake.
